Sr. Product Manager Falcon Sensor
About the role
Sensor Foundations is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager who is technical, collaborative, and excited about building security products that run at the edge. The Falcon sensor runs on every endpoint our customers protect, across Windows, macOS, and Linux, and it has to detect and stop threats while staying out of the user's way. In this role, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and delivery for a set of core sensor capabilities, working at the point where low-level endpoint engineering meets the broader Falcon platform.
Responsibilities
- Own the product strategy and roadmap for your area of the sensor, and connect it to the security outcomes customers and the business care about.
- Prioritize work by customer value, risk reduction, performance impact, and engineering cost, making the tradeoffs explicit so decisions stay visible and defensible.
- Partner closely with sensor, platform, and cloud engineering teams to break large technical initiatives into sequenced, shippable milestones.
- Run the full lifecycle for your features: discovery, requirements, rollout, and iteration, with telemetry that tells you whether the bet is working while you can still change course.
- Gather and synthesize input from customers, field teams, detection content teams, and other internal product teams to understand real workflows and adoption blockers.
- Define and track the metrics for your area (deployment coverage, upgrade velocity, crash rates, performance budgets, feature adoption) and use them to guide what comes next.
- Write clear problem statements, PRDs, and success metrics that engineering can build against.
Requirements
- 6+ years of product management experience in B2B software, with at least 3 years owning security, endpoint, client-agent, or platform/infrastructure products.
- Experience shipping and iterating on software that runs on customer devices: endpoint agents, system services, drivers, or similar (Windows, macOS, or Linux).
- A track record of working day to day with engineering teams, including backlog ownership, tradeoff calls, and iterative delivery.
- Comfort with technical topics (OS internals, security controls, telemetry, APIs, deployment tooling, cloud services) and the ability to translate them into business outcomes.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to produce a clear product doc and defend a roadmap decision to both engineers and executives.
- A habit of using data and customer feedback to make decisions and explain them.
- Capability to prioritize numerous simultaneous tasks across teams.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in working with both local and remote teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% to customer and CrowdStrike locations.
Qualifications
- BA or BS degree in an applicable technical field or equivalent work experience.
Skills
- Background in cybersecurity, specifically endpoint security, EDR, or XDR.
- Platform product management experience: building reusable internal services and APIs that other product teams depend on.
- Familiarity with enterprise endpoint deployment and management (MDM, RMM, configuration management).
- Experience partnering with security research, threat intelligence, or detection content teams.
- Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
