Sr Product Manager - Devices (Ring/Blink), Ring & Blink Devices

Description

Ring is seeking a technical hardware product manager who wants to join us in our journey to make neighborhoods safer. You will have end-to-end ownership, from defining the use cases to launching the product for doorbells/camera line of business (and more). A successful candidate will be AI native, highly analytical, comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating leadership, have technical competence, and be meticulous. In addition, you should have launched consumer electronics product as a hardware PM.

Key job responsibilities

• Define and drive the business strategy for your products, driven by internal and external analysis
• Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product
• - Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, profitability, and operational support load
• Work alongside hardware teams, including ID, EE, ME, Ops, and firmware teams to deliver a world-class product that exceeds your customers' needs and expectations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across disciplines and levels in the organization
• Work cross-functionally with teams to execute product launches

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
• Experience in using AI deeply in daily product functions, towards PM-as-Builders and making faster and efficient work products

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience shipping innovative, successful consumer products
• Experience in new hardware product development for consumer electronics
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines
• Have a proven track record in elevating individual and team's efficiency with AI integration
