About the role

Pinterest is a platform where millions of people discover creative ideas, dream about new possibilities, and plan for memorable moments. We're passionate about helping people create lives they love through our product. Join us to ignite innovation, transform passion into growth, and celebrate diverse experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap for the Core Saving Experience, including new user saving, ongoing saving, and adjacent organizing actions across key Pinterest surfaces.

  • Define and drive the strategy for new user saving, improving first-session save conversion, early repeat saves, and early board creation to build durable habits.

  • Lead the product strategy for new and sparse boards so Pinners quickly see value from creating and curating boards even when they have very little content.

  • Use data, research, and experimentation to understand how Pinners save, organize, and act on content, and translate those insights into simple, powerful product flows.

  • Run an experiment-driven roadmap that reduces friction in save flows, improves save quality, and grows downstream engagement.

  • Partner with AI/ML teams to design and ship AI-powered features that make saving and boards more useful and actionable, like intelligent organization, summarization, and planning helpers.

  • Use AI to accelerate analysis, ideation, and iteration while applying judgment and verification to ensure correctness and quality.

Requirements

  • Experience building and scaling consumer products, with experience in activation, engagement, or retention funnels.

  • Strong product sense and user empathy, with experience in shipping high-impact, user-facing features on core surfaces such as saving, collecting, feeds, or similar experiences.

  • Experience in defining product strategies, setting goals, and metrics, and running experiment-driven roadmaps that move key business outcomes.

  • Data-driven mindset, with experience in partnering with data science, instrumenting metrics, interpreting A/B tests, and making tradeoffs based on evidence.

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in your day-to-day workflow, with a strong track record of evaluating and verifying AI-assisted work for accuracy and quality.

  • High integrity and ownership; you protect sensitive data, avoid over-reliance on AI, and remain accountable for final decisions and deliverables.

  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills; you bring clarity, alignment, and momentum across Engineering, Design, Research, and other partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Design, Data, Business, or equivalent experience.
