Sr. Product Manager, Amazon Private Brands
Amazon’s Softlines Private Brands (SPB) team is seeking a dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead tech integration for new product development processes, including roadmap planning, product design, and PLM lifecycle management. The role focuses on scalably reducing commercialization time while increasing new product throughput.

The ideal candidate is passionate about product development, with strong analytical, product, and project management skills. Comfort with ambiguity, stakeholder engagement, and an entrepreneurial environment is essential. This role requires collaboration and influence across multiple global teams within the Amazon Private Brands (APB) organization.
Responsibilities
- Solve problems strategically and tactically for short, medium, and long-term impact.
- Lead projects partnering with cross-functional teams—tech, science, design, business management, in-stock management, and sourcing—to identify, analyze, and resolve customer pain points through process and tech solutions.
- Communicate clearly verbally and in writing, rallying teams around complex goals by root-causing misalignment, providing regular updates, and translating customer needs into technical requirements.
- Effectively communicate technical requirements, process solutions, and project updates to executive stakeholders.
- Build mechanisms for transparency, documenting projects, decisions, and prioritization to establish a strong foundation for current and future teams.
- Influence without authority across multiple teams, using data to push back when necessary.
- Manage projects by creating clear plans outlining teams involved, deliverables, business impact, milestones, and risk escalation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs in product development.
- Experience owning and driving roadmap strategy and definition.
- End-to-end product delivery experience.
- Experience as a product manager or owner, specifically with technology products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights.
- Experience working across functional teams and with senior stakeholders.
- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices.
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences.
Pay
Base salary range: $136,000 – $184,100 USD annually (Seattle, WA).
