Sr Product Management Manager - Wind Operations
About the role
Supports the identification and development of product offerings for the business. Influences the development of strategy for a broad sales territory, including control of resources.
Responsibilities
- Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Product Management function.
- Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services.
- Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
- Acts as the operational glue between Product, Engineering, and Development teams by streamlining planning cycles, formalizing cross-functional processes, and eliminating bottlenecks in the product lifecycle.
- Drives operational excellence by implementing robust frameworks for product discovery and delivery, ensuring alignment on data-driven priorities, clear technical requirements, and scalable release cadences.
- Makes decisions and handles complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns, or customers with high levels of judgment.
- Communicates difficult concepts and influences others' options on particular topics.
- May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity.
Requirements
- Significant experience in Product Management & Operations.
- Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
- Strategic experience in deploying Lean management systems to drive operational excellence, improve quality metrics, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to diagnose process health and prioritize resource allocation.
- A history of building high-performing, diverse teams through effective coaching, active listening, and clear, transparent communication.
- Proven success in breaking down departmental silos to work effectively with Engineering, Sourcing, Quality Management, and Commercial Organizations.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)) for roles in USA.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
