Sr. Product Lifecycle Analyst
About the role
As a Product Lifecycle Analyst within the MAHLE Lifecycle and Mobility business unit, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a product line, managing publication data, and supporting the creation of technical literature.
Responsibilities
- Research OE and aftermarket competitor catalogs and components for new parts additions and upgrades of existing parts.
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, including outlining product details, sourcing, new product introductions, supersessions, consolidations, re-labels, and recalls.
- Analyze new products and make recommendations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of application and product data in all publications.
- Conduct competitor analysis, maintain competitor interchange data, and analyze competitor market prices.
- Coordinate the development of all new product programs.
- Establish product and material specifications.
- Maintain the quality of products and content of sets.
- Maintain close liaison with MAHLE Aftermarket Service Engineering, MAHLE Aftermarket Product Management – Germany, MAHLE OE engineering at international manufacturing locations, and the engineering departments of vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Automotive Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of internal combustion engines, engine sealing product design and materials, engine components in general, and sourcing.
- Experience completing corrective action requests.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Skills
- Strong understanding of the automotive aftermarket, particularly the Powertrain and internal combustion engine segments.
