Sr Product Designer - Growth & Acquisition

What You’ll Do

• Design and optimize acquisition, landing page, onboarding, and conversion experiences across Angel’s web ecosystem.
• Proactively identify and champion opportunities that improve acquisition, engagement, conversion, and overall user growth outcomes to build beneficial network effects.
• Help define how the Guild experience is introduced to new users, revealing the value of community participation and strengthening the connection between Angel’s mission and its members.
• Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Research, and Engineering to uncover insights, align on opportunities, and bring ideas to life quickly.
• Leverage AI tools and workflows to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, content creation, and product innovation.
• Contribute to a collaborative, low-ego culture that values feedback, continuous learning, and measurable impact.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A proven track record of success in product design, preferably within a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
• A deep understanding of user needs and the ability to translate those insights into compelling design solutions.
• Experience with user research methods, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and A/B testing.
• Strong proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and familiarity with design systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working with data and analytics to inform design decisions and measure impact.
• A passion for storytelling and creating engaging digital experiences.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in product design, preferably in a tech company.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative design processes.
• Knowledge of web technologies and platforms, including but not limited to React, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with design thinking methodologies and the ability to apply them to solve complex problems.

Skills

The following skills are desirable:

• Experience with machine learning and natural language processing tools.
• Expertise in user experience (UX) design and user interface (UI) design.
• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Experience with design thinking and human-centered design principles.

Pay

Salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 annually, depending on experience.

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM CST. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required.
