Sr Product Designer

Jeppesen ForeFlight is seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our design team. In this role, you will play a key part in defining and delivering the next generation of aeronautical web products and services used by pilots and dispatchers worldwide. You are a strategic, user-centered designer who can independently lead complex projects from discovery through delivery. You thrive in ambiguity, influence cross-functional partners, and elevate the quality of both the product and the team. You bring a strong point of view on design and help raise the bar for craft, systems thinking, and decision-making across projects. You are also comfortable leveraging AI-enhanced tools and workflows to improve design efficiency and outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead design efforts for complex, high-impact web product areas from discovery through deliveryCollaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define problems, shape solutions, and drive alignment on user and business outcomesDrive clarity in ambiguous spaces by identifying opportunities, constraints, and tradeoffsCreate and guide the development of high-quality design artifacts, including flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypesLeverage research, data, and AI-assisted tools to inform decisions and accelerate iterationPlan and conduct user research and usability testing to validate solutionsPartner with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and user experienceLead the evolution of our design system and shared patterns, ensuring consistency and scalability across teamsProvide mentorship and guidance to other designers on the team, offering support, feedback, and perspective to help them succeedInfluence product strategy and advocate for user needs in cross-functional discussions, helping shape roadmap and prioritiesContribute to team culture, processes, and continuous improvement Basic Qualifications 6+ years of experience designing and shipping digital productsA strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design thinking, impact, and leadershipExcellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior partnersExperience leading design work in cross-functional teams and driving projects from ambiguity to clarityAbility to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment across competing prioritiesDeep experience solving complex, data-heavy product and user experience challenges in a domain such as healthcare, finance, or another complex, regulated domain, with a track record of delivering measurable impactProficiency with modern design tools such as FigmaStrong understanding of Material Design and other common web application design systemsExperience planning and conducting user researchStrong experience using AI tools and workflows to enhance personal productivity and design processes Preferred Qualifications Experience designing mapping or cartography-heavy productsInterest in aviation or experience working in the aviation industryExperience with data visualization Why Join Us Benefits At Jeppesen ForeFlight, we know you want a rewarding career.
