Your New Role
CNN is hiring a Senior Product Designer to join the Ad Experience team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is passionate about building digital products that hold great user experience as essential to long-term success. You’ll design new digital advertisement experiences across CNN to support a premium news product, reconciling ad revenue considerations, site performance, user subscriptions, and user engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years as a product designer, with at least 2 years in ad tech, marketing tech, or growth design.
- Strong Figma experience, including with variables, components, styles, and shared libraries.
- A good track record of product thinking, helping teams understand and prioritize the problems they’re solving as part of the design effort.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing, creating and modifying design system components to create scalable, delightful user experiences.
- Experience working on consumer-facing products within large-scale organizations.
- Bonus points for experience in news/media.
- A demonstrated ability to manage complex design challenges and a strong record of fostering cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignment.
- Strength in best practices of user experience design, including usability principles, user research methodology, testing techniques (A/B, Multi-Variant), design theory, and interaction design.
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or equivalent professional experience.
