Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Sr. Process Engineer who can lead design and scale-up of chemical processes, develop P&IDs and support pilot studies, process validation, and troubleshooting. They should also optimize processes to improve yield, quality, efficiency, and cost, collaborate cross-functionally to enable successful technology transfer and commercialization, use modeling and data analysis tools to evaluate and enhance process performance, support capital projects, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain technical documentation. Additionally, they should provide mentorship and contribute to global engineering initiatives.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead design and scale-up of chemical processes across lab, pilot, and manufacturing
  • Develop P&IDs and support pilot studies, process validation, and troubleshooting
  • Optimize processes to improve yield, quality, efficiency, and cost
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enable successful technology transfer and commercialization
  • Use modeling and data analysis tools to evaluate and enhance process performance
  • Support capital projects, ensure safety and compliance, and maintain technical documentation
  • Provide mentorship and contribute to global engineering initiatives

Who are You?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related discipline required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 11 years of experience in chemical process development, scale-up, or manufacturing 7 years expereience with a Masters.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Demonstrated expertise in reaction chemistry and complex process troubleshooting.
  • Strong experience with P&ID development and interpretation is required.

  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members
  • Strong documentation, organization, and technical writing skills

Pay

The typical base salary range for this position is between $109,000-$164,000 annually.
