About the Role
The Sr. Platform Developer (Oracle Fusion - O2C) will drive the success of Oracle Fusion initiatives, focusing on the Order to Cash (O2C) track while collaborating across Supply to Pay (S2P), Record to Report (R2R), and Hire to Retire (H2R) tracks. This role involves architecting, implementing, and optimizing the Oracle Fusion platform, including customizations and extensions to integrate seamlessly with critical business functions. As a technical lead, you will shape scalable solutions, validate vendor designs, and ensure project delivery while working closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Oracle Fusion solution development, primarily across O2C modules, ensuring scalable and robust technical strategies aligned with business needs.
- Design, build, and deploy CEMLI and RICE components to enable enterprise business solutions.
- Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical solution designs, workflows, and documentation while enforcing data governance and compliance policies.
- Provide technical leadership, establish coding standards, perform peer reviews, and define build, deployment, and release strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Sales, Finance, IT) to translate business requirements into Oracle/ERP best practices and user-centric features.
- Oversee platform administration, optimization, stability, and operational maintenance, including license management, system health monitoring, and scalability.
- Assess Oracle Fusion quarterly releases and ensure timely upgrades, including intermediate patch sets.
- Manage vendor/partner implementations, govern internal deliverables, and support automation in build and QA activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- 5+ years of Oracle ERP solution development experience, with a strong understanding of platform functionality, integrations, and process cycles (required).
- 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion development experience (OIC, VBCS, FBDI, SQL/PLSQL, OTBI, SOAP/REST APIs, Fusion Data Models) (required).
- Minimum 1 year of Redwood UI development experience (required).
- Experience with Oracle Fusion implementations in Manufacturing, including at least one full-cycle O2C implementation (preferred).
- Expertise in O2C technical and functional areas, including Order Management, AR, Pricing, Shipping, EDI/XML integrations, TCA management, and API usage for order creation, RPA, fulfillment, invoicing, and tax system integrations.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion customizations using PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, JDeveloper, Visual Builder Studio (VBCS), and Application Composer.
- Proficiency in data management, reporting, and analytics using Oracle Database, FBDI, HDL, BIP, OTBI, Smart View, and ADFdi.
- Experience with data conversions and migrations from legacy Oracle and non-Oracle systems into Fusion Cloud.
- Knowledge of SDLC, version control, build, test, and deployment tools (Jira, ADO, CI/CD, Git, Oracle DevOps, Postman, Oracle Cloud Test Automation).
- Familiarity with security aspects like SSO/SAML, OAuth, role-based access controls, and audit trail configurations.
- Advanced experience in Oracle Fusion CEMLI/RICEFW development, including module configurations, workflows, flex fields, process builders, and security settings.
- Proven ability to design system integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOAP/REST APIs, and file-based methods, with exposure to third-party tools (e.g., MuleSoft) and integrations with Salesforce, JDE, and tax engines.
- Proficiency in OUM, AIM, and SDLC methodologies, with experience in Agile, SAFe, or hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations or Architect Associate (preferred).
