About the role
The Sr. Platform Developer (Oracle Fusion - PLM) will drive Oracle Fusion initiatives for the Idea to Market (PLM) track, collaborating across functions like O2C, S2P, R2R, and H2R. This role leads the architecture, implementation, optimization, and customization of Oracle Fusion PLM modules, ensuring seamless integration with critical business functions. As a technical lead, you will shape scalable solutions, validate vendor designs, and resolve cross-functional dependencies while partnering with business stakeholders to translate needs into efficient Oracle solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end Oracle Fusion solutions across PLM and other modules, translating business needs into technical strategies.
- Build CEMLI and RICE components to enable enterprise business solutions.
- Lead the full technical solution lifecycle: analysis, design, documentation, build, validation, deployment, and operational support.
- Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical designs, workflows, and training materials.
- Enforce data governance, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance policies.
- Provide technical leadership: establish coding standards, perform peer reviews, and ensure architectural alignment.
- Define and manage build, deployment, and release strategies, including automation for build and QA activities.
- Govern internal team deliverables and monitor vendor/partner implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Sales, Plant Operations, Manufacturing, Finance) to translate business requirements into Oracle/ERP best practices.
- Design user/business-centric features and optimize workflows for operational efficiency.
- Oversee platform administration, optimization, stability, and maintenance, including license management and system health monitoring.
- Ensure platform scalability and enhance performance through proactive improvements.
- Assess quarterly Oracle Fusion releases and manage timely upgrades, including intermediate patch sets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
- 5+ years of Oracle ERP solution development experience, with a strong understanding of platform functionality, cross-functional integrations, and process cycles (required).
- 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Oracle Fusion platform (OIC, VBCS, FBDI, SQL/PLSQL, OTBI, SOAP/REST APIs, Fusion Data Models/Schemas) (required).
- Minimum 1 year of Redwood UI experience (required).
- Experience with Oracle Fusion implementations in Manufacturing, including at least two full-cycle implementations (preferred) and one covering PLM (required).
- Exposure to release automation and build pipelines (preferred).
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations or Architect Associate certification (preferred).

- PLM Module Expertise: Item Class configuration, Workflow Designer, Item Catalog, Lifecycles, ECOs, Quality Issue Workflows, Master Data Management, Configurator.
- Technical Development: PL/SQL, SQL, Java, JavaScript, Oracle JDeveloper, Visual Builder Studio (VBCS), Application Composer.
- Data Management & Reporting: Oracle Database, Data Modeling, FBDI, HDL, BIP, OTBI, Smart View, ADFdi.
- Data Migration: Extensive experience with data conversions from legacy Oracle and non-Oracle systems into Fusion Cloud.
- SDLC & DevOps: Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD, Git, Oracle DevOps, Postman, Oracle Cloud Test Automation.
- Security: SSO/SAML, OAuth, Role-Based Access Controls, Audit Trail Configurations.
- Integration & Middleware: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), SOAP/REST APIs, file-based integrations, MuleSoft (preferred), and integrations with Salesforce, JDE, Tax Engines, Invoicing Solutions, Supplier Portals, and Manufacturing systems.
- Implementation Methodologies: OUM, AIM, SDLC, Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models.
- Platform Optimization: Assessing and piloting new Oracle Fusion features, localizations, and compliance requirements.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Mentoring developers, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and engaging with business/technical stakeholders to align solutions with objectives.
