Responsibilities
- Overseeing / executing compliance with development processes and regulations for perception components.
- Investigating and troubleshooting all technical issues related to the perception components.
- Managing and interfacing with electrical and electronic product suppliers for the development of the perception component.
- Mentoring craftsmen, technicians and engineers in the development of perception components.
Requirements
- Requires a degree in an accredited Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Engineering curriculum.
Qualifications
- Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
- Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
- Electronics Engineering: Knowledge of electronics engineering; ability to read schematics, simulate circuit designs and conduct necessary electrical tests at the PCB level.
- Supplier Management: Knowledge of processes and methods to effectively manage business relationships and transactions with suppliers of raw materials or product components; ability to apply related knowledge, experience and skills into real practice.
Skills
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to go along with degree from an accredited engineering program.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to plan, execute and communicate technical findings.
- Ability to write code for test scripts and interaction with the perception components for the purposes of qualification (Python, C, etc…).
- Previous experience in developing perception component like RADAR, cameras and LiDAR.
- Previous experience with supplier interaction.
- Previous experience in system integration of perception components in autonomous, automated and/or safety systems.

Pay
Pay Range: $112,710.00 - $169,060.00
Schedule
The location for this position is Mossville, IL. Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position. This position will require less than 20% travel.
