Sr Patient Safety Specialist

Responsibilities

• Specializes in bringing change to the organization through surveillance and analysis of clinical and operational processes.
• Performs systematic review of complex processes related to Piedmont's Patient Safety Management Program including multidisciplinary root cause analysis, safety rounding and internal audits.
• Drives quality improvement through collection and timely dissemination of reliable information related to quality, safety and service.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in healthcare, business administration, or another closely related field
• Required Work Experience: 5 years of work experience in healthcare, or other high reliability field or closely related field with at least three (3) years of specific experience in a process improvement and/or quality role.
