About the role

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). In this role, you will be responsible for the technical management and enablement of selected AWS Partner Network Consulting Partners located in the US. You will own the technical strategy and execution plan for how your partners will develop their business practices and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, partner development managers, and partner core team leaders to drive results.
  • Build and maintain relationships with consulting partners' senior stakeholders, consultants, and AWS customers.
  • Earn the trust of partners' technical leaders and guide their growth and transformation of technology practices on the AWS Platform.
  • Create packaged offerings and develop partner resources.
  • Manage a broad portfolio of partners, including early-stage cloud-native firms, traditional large system integrators, value-added resellers, and specialist providers.
  • Travel less than 20% to interface and build relationships with partners.

About the team

The US Consulting Partner (USCP) team drives the technical strategy and execution for AWS’s largest and most strategic partners to scale their growth. As a strategic contributor, you'll work at the intersection of partner and customer needs, ensuring the technical perspective of partners and customers shapes how AWS engages. The team leads technical enablement initiatives, owns technical relationships with partners, and provides operational support across the partner ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-level stakeholders or clients.
  • 7+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with large-scale, enterprise applications.
  • 3+ years of experience working with multi-national partners/customers in support of technology sales.
  • 5+ years building proven relationships with partners/suppliers leading to increased sales opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building complex software systems successfully delivered to customers or experience in computer architecture.
  • Experience architecting or operating solutions built on AWS.
  • Experience with cloud, server, or infrastructure technologies and business models.
  • Experience presenting to executives, IT management, and developers.
  • Experience with technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.

Pay

  • USA, CA, San Francisco: $176,600.00 - $239,000.00 USD annually
  • USA, NY, New York: $169,000.00 - $228,600.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Dallas: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
  • USA, TX, Houston: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
