About the role

Constellation is a leading provider of clean and reliable energy, integrating with Calpine to manage a portfolio of 55 gigawatts of capacity across various renewable and traditional energy sources. The role involves driving performance improvement through training, coordinating and conducting Reactor Operator (RO)/Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training, maintaining current training programs, and supporting various operational and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Drive performance improvement through training
  • Coordinate and conduct Reactor Operator (RO)/Non-Licensed Operator (NLO) training programs
  • Maintain training programs current and incorporate new information
  • Prepare trainee examinations and conduct evaluations
  • Support CEC and fleet in business initiatives, project management, refuel outages, emergency preparedness, and special projects
  • Participate in audits and prepare responses to audit findings
  • Maintain knowledge of plant operations and disciplinary skills
  • Supervise training record maintenance
  • Perform other job assignments as directed

Requirements

  • Previous Equipment Operator experience with 6 years in related fields OR Associate's degree in technical discipline with 4 years of nuclear technical background OR Current or previous Reactor Operator/SRO certification with 4 years of related experience OR Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 3 years of nuclear technical background OR Current SRO license
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, and pass medical examinations
  • Meet ANSI/ANS-3.1-2014 Standard for personnel qualification

Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial nuclear training
  • Knowledge of and experience with the systematic approach to training (SAT)

Skills

  • Ability to maintain current training programs
  • Proficiency in Reactor Operator/NON-Licensed Operator training
  • Strong communication and supervision skills
  • Knowledge of plant operations and disciplinary techniques

Benefits
