About the role

Amgen’s Senior Oncology Specialist (Thoracic, GI/GU and Retina) serves as the primary customer contact, providing clinical knowledge of Amgen's oncology products to medical professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area territory (covering San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Clara, Santa Rosa, Monterey, Palo Alto, and San Mateo). The role is on‑site; relocation is not offered. As part of Amgen’s mission to serve patients with serious illnesses, you will help advance science in oncology, inflammation, general medicine, and rare disease while building a meaningful career.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary customer contact to provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen's products and effectively communicate the clinical and economic benefits to medical professionals.
• Create and execute on a comprehensive territory plan, which includes delivering branded sales messages, executing planned programs, scheduling and following-up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Utilize internal and external relationships to service and manage accounts, including ensuring product access, resolving/triage reimbursement issues
