Sr Mortgage Advisor - Spokane/Coeur d'Alene
About the role
The Sr Mortgage Advisor role at BECU is focused on connecting with members and brokers to create meaningful mortgage solutions, build strong relationships, and drive BECU's growth. This role involves selling mortgage loan products, but also focuses on creating lasting positive change within BECU.
Responsibilities
- Create meaningful mortgage solutions by understanding members' needs and offering appropriate solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with mortgage product and service providers, including agents, builders, and other professionals.
- Prospect and generate new mortgage relationships to support BECU's expansion markets.
- Contribute to individual and team goals by coaching and developing referral generation, enhancing the member experience, and representing BECU in the community.
- Serve as an escalation point for member issues and concerns, demonstrating the value and support BECU offers.
- Moderate travel may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education related experience in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan sales experience, with a self-generated mortgage volume of $12 million or greater annually.
- Compliance with SAFE Act legislation, requiring annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).
Qualifications
- Expert relationship management, problem resolution, and customer service skills.
- Strong sales, prospecting, and follow-up skills.
- Proficient math skills, including the ability to perform complex income analysis.
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

Pay
The Target Pay Range for this position is $54,800.00-$66,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $45,032.00 - $79,100.00 annually. Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant, which are performance-based and targets vary by role.
