Sr Mortgage Advisor - Spokane/Coeur d'Alene

About the role

The Sr Mortgage Advisor role at BECU is focused on connecting with members and brokers to create meaningful mortgage solutions, build strong relationships, generate new mortgage relationships, and represent BECU in the community. This role involves contributing to individual and team goals, escalating member issues, and serving as an escalation point.

Responsibilities

• Create meaningful mortgage solutions by understanding members' needs and offering appropriate solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with members, brokers, and other professionals.
• Prospect and lead generate to create new mortgage relationships and drive BECU's growth.
• Contribute to individual and team goals by coaching and developing referral generation and enhancing the member experience.
• Represent BECU in the community by actively participating in local organizations and events.
• Moderate travel as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or education related experience in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of mortgage loan sales experience, with a self-generated mortgage volume of $12 million or greater annually.
• Compliance with SAFE Act legislation, requiring annual registration as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO).

Qualifications

• Expert relationship management, problem resolution, and customer service skills.
• Strong sales, prospecting, and follow-up skills.
• Proficient math skills, including the ability to perform complex income analysis.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in the English language.

Pay

The Target Pay Range for this position is $54,800.00-$66,800.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $45,032.00 - $79,100.00 annually. Compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant, which are performance-based and targets vary by role.
