Sr. Merchandiser/Merchandiser - KNIT

About the role

Maceton Limited – Bangladesh Liaison Office is seeking a Senior/Merchandiser - KNIT with a proven track record in garment sourcing and production. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, international environment and possess a deep understanding of the garment industry.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper coordination and follow-up with related internal departments (Development, QC, Commercial, CR, Sourcing etc.) to facilitate smooth production.
• Comment on pre-production samples (CS, Size set, CTL, Photo, Pack etc.) and production samples (bulk, pre-FRI/FRI etc.).
• Handle orders independently and provide regular updates to management through summary presentations.
• Show technical knowledge on production scale, fabric, accessories etc., and communicate effectively to manage production processes.
• Monitor production progress, compile reports, and conduct timely follow-ups to ensure timely shipments.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to oversee and resolve order-related issues.
• Maintain comprehensive merchandising order files and reports to support efficient order processing.
• Show proactive behavior, ensuring tasks are completed successfully and staying updated with industry best practices.
• Adhere to ethical standards and align personal behavior with the company's values.
• Perform any special tasks or assignments as directed by the company.
