Senior Merchandiser (Knit Garments)

About the Role

We are a rapidly growing, 100% export-oriented knit-garment manufacturer, supplying high-quality apparel to globally renowned brands. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our team and drive seamless customer engagement and product execution.

The Senior Merchandiser will be responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process, from product development to shipment. The role demands strong coordination skills, technical understanding of knit garments, and the ability to communicate effectively with buyers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle and manage assigned buyers/accounts.
• Develop new product samples as per buyer requirements and market trends.
• Prepare accurate costing and price negotiations with buyers.
• Coordinate closely with production, planning, and quality teams to ensure timely order execution.
• Follow up on order status, approvals, trims, fabrics, and accessories to avoid delays.
• Maintain effective communication with buyers regarding order progress, shipment status, and problem resolution.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to TNA plans and critical path schedules.
• Analyze market trends and proactively propose new styles, fabrics, and techniques to buyers.
• Prepare regular reports on order status and potential risks for management review.
• Ensure compliance with buyer requirements, quality standards, and technical specifications.
• Manage documentation and processes related to order execution, including POs, invoices, and shipping documents.
• Collaborate with the sourcing team to identify suitable suppliers for fabrics, trims, and accessories.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in knit garment manufacturing, merchandising, or a related field.
• Technical knowledge of garment production, merchandise planning, and apparel sourcing.
• Proficiency in knit garment production, fashion merchandising, and merchandising software.
• Strong understanding of garment industry knowledge and fabric sourcing.
