Responsibilities
- Unload product from freight.
- Tag, fold, hang and price merchandise to be put out on the sales floor or in back stock.
- Restock merchandise on sales floor and bring product to the floor for display.
- Absorb and assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased product.
- Maintain orderly appearance of personal work space and surrounding areas.
- General cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areas.
- Add and subtract two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.
- Read and comprehend instructions and write short correspondence.
- Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other associates of the organization.
- Be organized, multi-task and maintain all aspects of the Merchandising role.
- Exercise judgment and tact and effectively work with all levels within the organization.
- Show strong oral/written communication and presentation skills to communicate effectively and in a timely manner.
- Show attention to detail.
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures.
- Willing to do other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and Merchandiser Leads.
- Work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications
- Education & Experience: Ideal candidate will have a minimum of a High School diploma, or General Education Degree (GED), one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Pay
$16.00 per hour plus GREAT Associate Discount on all in store purchases.

Schedule must be flexible to work assigned schedule between 9a.m. and 9p.m., Monday through Saturday, 10a.m. and 6p.m., Sunday. Schedule may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, must be available minimum of every other weekend or 2 weekends a month. Average hours per week is 25 hours.
