We are looking for a Senior Marketing Specialist - Rentals to develop, execute, and monitor strategic marketing initiatives that support the business goals and growth plans of the Rentals organization.
This role is pivotal in boosting awareness and preference for Carolina Cat Rentals products among key decision-makers, partners, and influencers in the construction and contractor sectors within our territory. You will translate data and research into actionable marketing plans, develop strategic campaigns, and understand customer behaviors and needs. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and relationship-builder, skilled in facilitating collaboration across departments and external parties, with both creative thinking and analytical capability.
Reporting to our Senior Marketing Manager, you will work out of our Charlotte, NC location.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies for the Rentals business unit through strategic campaigns to drive brand awareness, market saturation, and deliver superb customer experiences.
- Support marketing and sales departments through collaboration, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders during implementation of marketing campaigns, projects, and initiatives.
- Develop and drive successful go-to-market plans, including identifying customer needs and market trends, conducting market research and competitive analysis, identifying growth opportunities, and developing compelling messaging and positioning for our products and solutions.
- Create and implement marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement and adoption, assisting with pipeline build and promotions.
- Develop and execute lead generation initiatives, including content marketing, webinars, events, and partnerships.
- Drive the creation of high-quality content highlighting cost savings, equipment availability, and access to the latest models across digital and traditional channels.
- Present marketing strategies to executive management, business unit managers, and sales representatives.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team to manage campaigns across social media, email marketing, SEO, and PPC advertising to increase brand visibility and drive engagement.
- Partner with the Sales team to provide tools, materials, and resources to effectively communicate the value proposition to customers.
- Support the overall marketing function by attending marketing and sales events, meetings with OEMs, business units, and vendors.
- Provide weekly progress reports on marketing campaigns, projects, and initiatives using KPIs.
- Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Stay abreast of market trends in the industry and territory.
- Responsible for advertising and event budget recommendations and allocations.
- Maintain industry knowledge to support strategic marketing campaigns through training and research.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or equivalent.
- Three or more years of experience in B2B product marketing.
- Construction equipment rentals experience required.
- Experience in B2B product marketing or product management.
- Understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
- Proficient in problem-solving and strategic, critical thinking.
- Professional judgment and decision-making ability.
- Data mining and analysis skills to report KPIs, forecast performance, and identify trends.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
- High level of diligence and strong organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to interpret business needs and opportunities into strategic marketing action.
- Experience working with a Sales team.
Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization), Word, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, and Power BI.
- Prior experience using CRM tools.
