About the role

The Sr Marketing & Communications Specialist is a fully proficient communications professional responsible for executing integrated marketing and corporate communications initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, executive visibility, and market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Support integrated marketing and communications initiatives by coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and aligning deliverables with business objectives.
  • Led press release development by drafting content, managing approvals, and coordinating distribution through appropriate channels.
  • Manage award programs by identifying opportunities, preparing submissions, and tracking results to increase brand recognition.
  • Create compelling written content by producing messaging, copy, and promotional materials that support campaigns and thought leadership.
  • Analyze media coverage and social performance by maintaining dashboards, evaluating trends, and recommending improvements.
  • Cook media interviews and speaking opportunities by managing logistics, briefing materials, and stakeholder communications.
  • Work directly with vendors that support the Marketing team.
  • Maintain newsroom and digital communication assets by publishing updates, managing biographies, and ensuring content accuracy.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Brand, Demand Generation, Investor Relations, and Internal Communications by aligning messaging and supporting integrated campaigns.
  • Manage editorial calendars and communications project plans by prioritizing deliverables and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Identify process improvements by evaluating workflows, documenting best practices, and recommending more efficient communications methods.

Requirements

  • Minimum Years Of Experience: 3–6 years of experience in marketing communications, public relations, corporate communications, social media, or a related communications function with demonstrated success managing integrated communications initiatives independently.
  • Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, Journalism, English, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced copywriting skills
  • Advanced editing and storytelling abilities
  • Experience developing press releases and media materials
  • Experience managing social media platforms and analytics
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze communications performance metrics and develop recommendations
  • Strong ability to use artificial intelligence tools

Skills

  • Preferred Experience with PR distribution platforms and media databases
  • Experience supporting executive communications and thought leadership
  • Experience managing editorial calendars and content workflows
  • Experience with marketing automation or social media management platforms
  • Experience in the banking technology or financial services industry

Pay

The salary range for this position is: $92,000 - $115,000

Schedule

As a remote-first company, most of our positions can be remote in the US, except for key roles, which will be indicated in the Job Title.
