About the Team

At Dexcom, patient satisfaction drives everything we do. Our Industrial Engineering team plays a critical role in enabling people to take control of their health by designing, analyzing, and improving production systems for the most accurate CGM on the market. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally across all organizations and complex manufacturing processes in a fun, professional, and growth-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, Rapid Improvement Workshops, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Improve manufacturing flow through line balancing, standardized work, pull systems, and WIP optimization.
  • Partner with production leadership to enhance throughput, productivity, and capacity.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing tools such as standard work systems, visual management, and Tier Daily Management.
  • Coach teams on Lean tools, Problem Solving methodologies (PDCA, A3 Thinking), and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Collaborate with EHSS, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, Process, Equipment & Industrial Engineering, and MES teams.
  • Instill a Lean Manufacturing mindset, respect for all team members, and empower continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • A bias for action and enjoyment of a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of leading Lean Manufacturing initiatives that deliver measurable business results.
  • Ability to use manufacturing data to identify opportunities, craft compelling narratives, and execute structured solutions to operational challenges.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on presence on the manufacturing floor.
  • Role model for effective behaviors, taking ownership, and delivering sustainable, standardized improvements.
  • Adaptability to shifting business needs and knowing when to coach, direct, execute, or escalate to achieve results.

Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 5-8 years of related experience, or a Master’s degree with 2-5 years of equivalent industry experience, or a PhD with 0-2 years of experience.

Pay

$95,900.00 - $159,900.00 per year.

Schedule

Travel required: 5-15%.
