Background & Requirements
- Minimum 7-years of relevant industry in event overlay design and temporary infrastructure delivery. Preferred working knowledge of California Building Code requirements
- Previous experience in event operations, logistics, hospitality, or a related field preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Sports Management, Construction Management, Event Management, or related field or equivalent work experience strongly preferred
Expectations
- Willingness to occasionally visit venues and work on-site as needed.
- Familiarity with temporary infrastructure projects
- Experience working with a diverse range of stakeholders and proven success at building excellent working relationships
- Experience working with senior executives across multiple functional areas
- Excellent leadership skills with track record of people development and revenue achievement
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently to resolve issues
- Fluent working with Office suite products including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-starter with experience in defining tasks, seeking feedback, and evolving work where applicable

- Ability to implement and manage change effectively as well as manage and mitigate risk
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- The position is based in Los Angeles office with in-person presence required.
- The LA28 office is an open-plan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
- The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time sitting, standing, using computers, phones, and other office equipment, and attending in-person meetings.
- Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and will include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games
- Ability to work extended hours during critical build milestones and Games-time preparations
