About the role

The Sr. Manager, US Medical Learning - IMM plays a crucial role in supporting the field medical teams, particularly Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs). This role involves managing the planning, development, implementation, and optimization of training programs, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that learning solutions align with therapeutic area strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, coordinate, and update new hire, disease state, product, and data onboarding programs.
  • Align with WW Medical Learning, WW Commercialization Learning, and US FM and HOM teams to ensure strategic onboarding needs are met.
  • Coordinate Field Readiness Validations and ensure learning solutions align with therapeutic area strategies.
  • Evaluate scientific learning materials and programs, and update based on stakeholder input.
  • Select and coordinate with outside speakers/consultants to deliver timely discussions/presentations on important TA-related medical topics.
  • Design training sessions using adult learning principles to optimize learning and implement strategies to protect field time.
  • Create and/or adapt materials and tools for internal use to support US FM in delivering BMS product information and data to healthcare professionals.
  • Incorporate innovation and technologies into learning solutions as appropriate.
  • Manage and coordinate complex projects with minimal direction.
  • Manage and maintain training materials, strategic plans, etc. using BMS platforms.
  • Attend live business critical FM meetings, including major US congresses.
  • Participate in on-the-job training programs to enhance professional growth.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced degree required: MD, DO, PharmD, DNP, PhD, APN/NP, PA, MS preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years combined pharmaceutical / biotech experience preferred, inclusive of fellowship experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of TA experience, either in a field role, a training role, or fellowship.
  • Immunology or Pulmonology experience preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong skills in public presentation.
  • Ability to effectively interact cross-functionally and across geographies.
  • Ability to assess workload and prioritize projects under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and demonstrated application of adult learning principles and design of effective learning solutions.
  • Highly motivated self-starter willing to work in a dynamic-paced working environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Power Point, Excel, Word, LMS/LXP, and AI applications (ChatGPT/MS Co-Pilot).
  • Ability to travel for multiple meeting engagements (e.g., Managers Meetings, National Plan of Action Meetings, various Training Initiatives, etc.).
