Sr Medical Director - Immunology/Rheumatology

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical studies as the primary medical monitor
• Support Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance with medical input
• Design and amend study protocols as needed
• Deliver training to team members and clinical staff
• Assist in developing study-start up and feasibility strategies
• Assess and input on data collection and monitoring plans
• Review clinical data with Medical Scientist staff and present findings

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree required with specialization in immunology or rheumatology
• 5-7 years clinical research experience in a similar role
• Strong understanding of FDA regulations and ICH GCP guidelines
• Experience leading clinical trials and teams effectively
• Excellent communication and mentoring skills for staff and project teams
