Responsibilities
- Oversee clinical studies as the primary medical monitor
- Support Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance with medical input
- Design and amend study protocols as needed
- Deliver training to team members and clinical staff
- Assist in developing study-start up and feasibility strategies
- Assess and input on data collection and monitoring plans
- Review clinical data with Medical Scientist staff and present findings
Qualifications
- MD or equivalent degree required with specialization in immunology or rheumatology
- 5-7 years clinical research experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of FDA regulations and ICH GCP guidelines
- Experience leading clinical trials and teams effectively
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills for staff and project teams
