Sr. Manager, US Government Programs

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, US Government Programs to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space. This role will lead the lifecycle of complex U.S. government programs, ensuring they are executed effectively from kickoff through ongoing support. You will translate contract commitments into actionable plans, align internal stakeholders, and serve as the primary point of contact for government customers. The position requires strong command of scope, schedule, budget, compliance, and cross-functional coordination in regulated federal environments. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $130,000 – $165,000 annually Responsibilities Own and drive U.S. government program lifecycles from kickoff to ongoing support Translate contracts into actionable program plans with defined responsibilities Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks across programs Ensure timely completion of all contract deliverables and compliance artifacts Serve as the primary contact with U.S. government customers and stakeholders Drive alignment across internal teams to maintain program momentum Support pre-sale engagement and validation of technical and financial commitments Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on program or project management experience with U.S. government customers Direct experience with federal agencies such as defense, civil aviation, or homeland security Proven ability to manage multiple programs across various agency environments Strong skills in cross-functional influence and team collaboration without formal authority Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willingness to travel as necessary for program requirements Eligibility for security clearance Benefits Comprehensive health benefits Unlimited paid time off Relocation assistance for eligible candidates Support for reasonable accommodations during the recruiting process Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
