About the role

The role involves leading supply chain business processes development and implementation, driving material planning and project delivery for the NX Foundation Solutions business at Nextracker. This role is based onsite at our Fremont, CA headquarters and reports to the Vice President of Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Supply Chain liaison to the NX Foundation Solutions team, ensuring alignment on all demand/supply plans, material readiness, installation equipment readiness and on-time project delivery schedules.
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain execution for Foundation Solutions construction projects from early-stage handoff (70%, 90%, 100%) through delivery, closeout, and field support.
  • Own the on-time and on-budget project delivery for: Foundation hardware (Earth Truss® Foundation System, NX Anchor™ Foundation System), Installation Equipment (Truss Driver Machines and Twin Mast Machines), Spare parts and up-fit kits to support installation equipment readiness and field operations.
  • Partner cross-functionally with key departments—including Product Management, Engineering, Sourcing, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Trade Compliance, Fleet Management, Finance and Project Operations—to drive integrated planning and execution strategies.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of all project materials and equipment, meeting committed lead times and budget constraints.
  • Design and implement recovery plans to address and remedy project risks or customer escalations related to delayed deliveries or field disruptions.
  • Act as the first line of escalation within the Supply Chain organization for the Foundation Solutions business, resolving issues proactively and collaboratively.
  • Provide frequent executive-level reporting, including KPIs, budget performance, supplier delivery metrics, and project risk assessments.
  • Establish robust spare parts programs to support field service operations and extend uptime of deployed equipment.
  • Work closely with the Fleet Center Operations team to manage consumables, tools, and machine inventory for seamless construction support.
  • Support sourcing strategy development by providing forward-looking demand forecasts and coordinating with the Global Commodity and Strategic Supply Chain teams.
  • Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and inventory control systems to optimize efficiency and ensure adherence to company and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes, policies, and procedures required to enable the successful operation and scaling of the NX Foundation Solutions business.
  • Support the development and integration of software tools, data analytics, and reporting systems to enhance visibility, planning accuracy, and decision-making across the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or operations, with exposure to construction, solar, industrial equipment, or machinery industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing regional or global teams.
  • Strong planning, forecasting, and inventory management skills, with emphasis on project-based logistics.
  • Pioneering ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • An analytical problem-solver with a proactive mindset and the ability to design risk mitigation and recovery strategies.
  • Advanced user of planning and data tools (e.g., Anaplan, Excel, Access, ERP systems).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities.
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time, including site visits, supplier coordination, and project support activities.

For candidates located in California, the annual salary range for this position is $150,000 to 175,000. Compensation ranges for other locations, including Nevada, may differ based on the applicable market.
