About the role
The Sr. Manager, Sub-Regional Lead provides strategic security and crisis response services to all cross-sector J&J companies in the North America West subregion. Reporting to the J&J Global Security Regional Security Director North America, the SRL is responsible for developing crisis response and employee support plans, supporting the development of local emergency plans, and coordinating employee support actions such as evacuations, relocations, repatriations, emergency housing, and care packs.
Responsibilities
- Crisis Response and Employee Support: Develop crisis response and employee support plans based on plausible or effective crisis scenarios; core member of the country crisis management teams (CMT); support the development of the local emergency plans; overall coordination of employee support actions to include but not limited to evacuations, relocations, repatriations, emergency housing, care packs, tracking and accounting.
- Site Security: Perform security risk and gap assessments; evaluate and determine the site risk level; develop and present a site risk mitigation program; implement GS policies and procedures; liaise with local law enforcement; track performance through monthly review of J&J Global Security KPI’s; represent Global Security at the global guarding services contract OMT governance level; SME support for security projects.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Criminology, Police Sciences, Security Management, or another relevant area is required. Master’s Degree is desired.
- Required Experience & Skills: At least 10 years in a corporate security management role, preferably in a multi-national environment. Proven and successful track record in crisis management and response, project management and execution, physical security strategies and techniques, security systems and technology, innovation and optimization projects, internal investigations, root-cause analysis (RCA), security risk management, conducting security assessments and mitigation plan development, KPI performance management, event security, executive protection tactics and execution, security awareness program development and implementation, internal and external network development.
- Preferred Experience: Operating within the North America West subregion is strongly preferred. ASIS Member or equivalent organization (desired); CPP – PSP certification is a plus. Proficiency (oral & written) in English is required. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Up to 25% domestic or international travel is required.
