About the Role

The IT Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager reports to the Head of IT Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management Office (SVMO). This role focuses on sourcing and contract negotiations for Information Technology categories, including Application Development, Ecommerce, Enterprise Software, Technical Consulting, Networking Hardware, Data Center Hardware, PCs/Tablets/Peripherals, Hosting Services, Mobile Service Providers, and Telecommunications.

This is a hybrid role, and work can be performed in Arkansas, Dallas, or Miami.

Responsibilities

  • Review documentation and legal drafts of contracts/agreements, ensuring contractual requirements are met, and work directly with Strategic Sourcing Managers and key stakeholders to ensure compliance with Lennar Corporation policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate work with various departments and serve as a liaison between Lennar Corporation and vendors to oversee the intake, review, and finalization of all IT and HR contracts.
  • Act as an innovative thought leader with demonstrated business acumen, quickly understanding complex business programs related to Information Technologies.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach managers and specialists, promoting career development and managing team performance.
  • Review, draft, redline, and negotiate a variety of technology-related agreements, including SOWs, POCs, order forms, and amendments, while maintaining coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage supplier relationships, engagement, and continuous improvement of supplier performance.
  • Create and facilitate the issuance and evaluation of RFPs, RFIs, and other sourcing documents.
  • Prepare and/or diagnose/interpret financial and other relevant analyses related to sourced products.
  • Negotiate and prepare contracts with appropriate terms and conditions.
  • Resolve conflicts or service level issues regarding supplier performance.
  • Ensure IT protocols and guidelines are applied and properly documented.
  • Effectively communicate program needs and status with internal team members and external stakeholders, building trust and influencing change.
  • Demonstrate a proficient understanding of procurement systems, functionality, and procure-to-pay processes.
  • Manage conflict inherent in procurement and sourcing operations between suppliers and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of IT Purchasing experience.
  • 7+ years of IT Sourcing experience.
  • Experience working with large technology partners such as AT&T, CDW, Cisco, IBM, Insight, Oracle, Microsoft, Salesforce, Verizon, and VMWare.
  • Juris Doctorate required.
  • ITIL experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in challenging and ambiguous environments.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with executives, clients, and team members.
  • Ability to work across functional areas to drive continuous improvement.
  • Advanced experience with MS Office.
  • Experience in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to connect strategy with contracting.
  • Flexibility to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and operational skill sets.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Tenacious, driven, energetic, and possessing a high degree of professional integrity.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements

This is mainly a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to operate computer equipment, speak, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
