About the role

This role exists to make Mint Mobile one of the most creatively distinct and culturally relevant brands on social media. It sets the strategic vision and brand voice for Mint's social presence—translating the brand's bold, witty, and challenger personality into content and campaigns that drive real business results. The role leads a team of campaign managers and content creators, pairing sharp brand judgment with data-driven decision-making to build community, drive awareness, and grow Mint's fanbase across owned and paid platforms. Success is measured by the brand's ability to cut through, earn attention, and convert followers into customers. The work sits at the intersection of creative instinct and strategic execution, with direct influence on how millions of people experience the Mint Mobile brand every day.

Responsibilities

  • Inspire, lead, and develop a team of social media campaign managers and content creators—setting a high creative bar, fostering a culture of bold ideas, and driving both individual growth and collective performance
  • Architect and own Mint Mobile's social media strategy—defining the brand's voice, channel mix, and content vision across owned platforms, with clear KPIs that connect creative ambition to measurable community growth and engagement
  • Partner with paid media teams and external partners to extend Mint's brand storytelling into paid social, ensuring campaigns feel on-brand and are optimized for reach, relevance, and conversion
  • Apply sharp brand taste and cultural fluency to greenlight, shape, and direct social campaigns that build Mint's awareness and product consideration through both owned and paid channels—always with a distinct creative point of view
  • Translate social strategy, creative concepts, and performance results into compelling narratives for executive leadership—fostering social as a core business driver and shaping how Mint invests in the channel
  • Responsible for other duties/projects as assigned by business management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
  • Acceptable areas of study include Communications, Marketing, Business, PR, or related field (Preferred)
  • 7-10 years developing & managing complex integrated marketing programs in an agency or corporate environment (Preferred)
  • 4-7 years leading direct reports in a fast-paced, high-volume Advertising, Marketing, Communications, and/or Public Relations function for a large corporation or agency (Preferred)
  • Wireless or Mobile experience or heavy knowledge of the space is a plus (Preferred)
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Pay

Base pay range: $108,700 - $196,200. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on work location, qualifications, and experience. Most corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance, set at a percentage of eligible earnings in the prior year. This role has a corporate bonus target of 20%.
