Sr Manager, Security & Safety

About the Role

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Manager - Security & Safety to be a strategic partner and lead key programs and initiatives focused on protecting employees, visitors, and facilities through proactive security planning, workplace violence prevention, emergency preparedness, threat assessment, and crisis readiness. This role will lead the implementation and ongoing management of Milwaukee Tool's physical security program for U.S. locations, reporting to the VP of Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability and working cross-functionally with various teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the enterprise physical security strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Implement and continuously improve the Physical Security Management System, including policies, standards, and governance processes.
• Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability reviews, partnering with locations to prioritize recommendations.
• Lead workplace violence prevention programs, including reporting, assessing, and managing concerns.
• Develop and maintain emergency response procedures for various scenarios, coordinating drills and exercises.
• Create and deliver training programs on security awareness, workplace violence prevention, and emergency response.
• Establish performance measures and provide updates on program implementation and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of experience in security, emergency preparedness, risk management, or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Emergency Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing enterprise physical security programs, standards, or management systems.
• Strong communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive program implementation.
• Willingness to travel periodically within the United States.
