Sr. Manager - PMT, Prime Video Personalization & Discovery

About the role

The Prime Video Personalization & Discovery team is seeking a talented Senior Manager of Product Management Tech with required prior experience in Personalization, Recommendations and intelligent content discovery experience to help deliver superior experiences to Prime Video customers worldwide. You will own a substantial portion of the product strategy and vision of the product experience customers have with Personalization, and develop product roadmaps to execute on that vision.

Responsibilities

• Own a substantial portion of the product strategy and vision of the product experience customers have with Personalization, and develop product roadmaps to execute on that vision.
• Work with engineering, science, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to optimize the Prime Video Personalization & Discovery customer experience.
• Build and lead a team of 10-15 people to define and deliver products and services that meet the needs of Prime Video customers.
• Define and manage the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
• Lead cross-functional teams to build and deploy personalized recommendation systems and content discovery features.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure successful execution of the product vision.

Requirements

• 6+ years of team management experience
• 10+ years of end to end product delivery experience
• 10+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Minimum 2 years leading teams of 10-15 people including building the team
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Media Tech space including Streaming Personalization, Marketing Tech, Ad Tech

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
• MBA
• Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
• Experience in a Media Tech space including Streaming Personalization, Marketing Tech, Ad Tech
