PMO Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a layered project team including Program Managers, Project Managers and Project Coordinators.
• Set clear expectations and address performance gaps directly.
• Ensure compliance and standardize execution processes across Quickbase, SharePoint, and HubSpot.
• Reinforce timeline discipline, documentation accuracy, and consistent customer communication.
• Oversee portfolio health across field deployments and technical installations. Ensure milestones are maintained and breakdowns are addressed early before they impact margin.
• Manage escalations for complex customer and internal delivery issues. Provide calm, structured leadership that protects relationships while reinforcing accountability internally.
• Analyze project performance metrics including process compliance, milestone adherence, task aging, escalation trends, and documentation compliance. Turn data into action plans that improve execution consistency.
• Develop leaders within the PMO who anticipate problems, communicate clearly and take ownership of outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management, with at least 3 years leading Project Managers and/or Program Managers.
• Strong understanding of field deployments, structured cabling, or multi-site technical rollouts.
• Strong analytical capabilities to support data-driven decision making.
• Experience building or standardizing PMO processes.
• Experience supporting national retail rollouts, infrastructure deployments, or field service organizations is helpful.
• Familiarity with financial performance conversations and margin signals at the Program Manager level is beneficial but not required.
• PMP certification is lightly preferred.
