Summary Of Responsibilities
The Manager - Project Management Office (PMO) provides leadership, organization, and coordination to support key activities encompassing program planning, project management, and execution. The PMO ensures all projects administered by the PMO office adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for program and project management. He/she manages change and promotes the continuous improvement of project management related processes throughout Chervon.
Key Job Responsibilities
- PMO Leadership & Strategy - Lead the Project Management Office, ensuring the implementation and adherence to best practices, methodologies, and governance frameworks. Drive project management maturity and consistency across the organization.
- Project Portfolio Management - Oversee and optimize a portfolio of strategic projects, ensuring prioritization aligns with corporate objectives and resources are effectively allocated.
- Process Management - Define and maintain project management standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- PMO Performance - Standardize PMO governance, reporting, and performance tracking, providing insights to senior leadership through reporting and KPIs.
- Risk & Change Management – Identify, assess, and mitigate risks across projects. Champion change management initiatives to ensure successful project adoption and integration.
- Stakeholder Engagement – Act as a trusted advisor to executives and key stakeholders, facilitating decision-making and aligning projects with business needs.
- Continuous Improvement - Capture lessons learned and apply insights to refine processes and improve future project execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project/program management, with at least 3 years in a PMO leadership role or managing project managers.
- Knowledge and experience of best practice project management methodologies and techniques to provide sound advice and support to Project Managers.
- Strong understanding of project portfolio management, governance, and execution frameworks.
- Ability to influence others to manage their projects in accordance with project management best practice.
- Ability to navigate complex, high-impact projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change management and process improvement.
- Ability to clearly, concisely, and accurately report on project progress and outcomes to leadership and steering groups.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly develop an understanding of complex projects and situations across all areas of the organization.
- Project management qualification preferred including PMP, PgMP or Six Sigma Black Belt.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $115k to $145k. Offers are generally made between this range depending on skills, experience, and internal equity. In some cases, highly qualified candidates may receive an offer outside of the posted range.

This job operates in professional office, retail, and outdoor environments as well as virtually. Expect to work 4-5 days/week in the office and 0-1 days/week virtually when not traveling.
