Sr. Manager of Sales Operations – Walmart

Responsibilities

• Sales & Business Analysis: Analyze sales performance, trends, and key metrics to support decision-making. Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to the Sales Account Manager. Assist in forecasting demand and identifying risks/opportunities.
• Forecasting & Planning: Support short- and long-term business forecasting. Help prepare for line reviews and strategic planning meetings.
• Item Setup & Maintenance: Manage new item setup and ensure accuracy across systems. Maintain product data and ensure alignment with Walmart requirements.
• Compliance & Operations: Monitor and ensure compliance with Walmart shipping and operational standards. Conduct compliance testing and resolve issues proactively.
• Order Management: Oversee order flow from placement through fulfillment. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate shipments.
• Deductions & Chargebacks: Review, research, and resolve deductions and chargebacks when needed. Identify root causes and implement preventative measures.
• In-Store Execution: Perform regular local store visits to assess shelf conditions, inventory levels, and execution. Provide feedback and recommendations based on store observations.
• Retail Readiness: Prepare materials and analysis for line reviews. Support modular reset planning and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG)
• Familiarity with Walmart systems, including Retail Link
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word required; advanced Excel skills a plus)
