About the role

The Senior National Account Manager serves as the Samsung contact for Home Entertainment Categories for a large National Retailer. This role leads cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and merchandising support, to achieve annual and quarterly sales, market share, and commercial spend targets. The position involves planning and executing category roadmaps to meet pricing, promotion, shelving, and assortment objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and align annual business plans internally and with customer(s).
  • Manage new item sell-in and product lifecycle (item setup, placements, sell-thru, forecasting, in-stock, pricing, EOL).
  • Ensure promotional alignment internally and with the customer.
  • Own business strategies for Samsung’s sales on the customer’s website and product detail pages (PDPs).
  • Lead annual vendor terms and commercial negotiations for assigned categories.
  • Ensure online marketing alignment and communicate customer needs and support.
  • Optimize customer contribution for selected categories.
  • Align with Sales Finance Manager on financial reconciliation.
  • Build Go-to-Market Marketing plans with the support of Marketing Teams.
  • Track target progress and conduct periodic reviews with the customer.
  • Support the identification and development of selling strategies, tactics, and solutions.
  • Customize sell-out presentations and materials for assigned customers.
  • Present plans, recommendations, and initiatives to gain internal executive leadership approval and external customer alignment.
  • Manage commercial spend to achieve sales volume and trade spend goals.
  • Responsible for forecast achievement and analysis to improve weeks-of-supply (WOS) management.

  • Collaborative project management with cross-functional business units.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with a strong sense of urgency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field.
  • Strong data analysis and interpretation abilities; proficiency in Excel, Access, or Tableau is beneficial.
  • 8+ years of experience selling Consumer Electronics (preferred) to National Retailers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in business, marketing, sales, or related field.
  • Consumer Electronics industry experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in sales or a related field.
