Sr Manager HRBP - Field
General Function
The Sr. Manager HR Business Partner is a trusted advisor in providing HR leadership and guidance in supporting a results-oriented organization. As a business partner to both retail field leadership and Corporate partners, this role will be instrumental in executing the business's vision, mission, and overall objectives, as well as mitigating risk, through effective talent management support. This role also plays a pivotal role in supporting field/store associates on HR-related matters and coaches/develops managers in key leadership characteristics and business success measures.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish trust to build real relationships and utilize a consulting process in influencing leaders to address HR related risks to business objectives
- Acts as an advocate for associates creating and fostering a best in class work environment
- Affirms and anticipates HR-related needs and builds/execute strategies to address; including but not limited to employee engagement, succession planning, performance management, recruiting strategy, talent acquisition, and talent development
- Drive management’s ownership for managing and developing their people
- Serves as an active member of the retail Zone Leadership Team
- PARTNERS WITH OTHER HR SHARED SERVICES TO COORDINATE THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMS, SYSTEMS, AND PROCESSES
- Analyzes reporting to understand how and where to support the business strategy and to drive business results
- Provides guidance to managers and associates for HR related concerns including lower risk associate relations and the performance management
- Ensures compliance regarding Company policy and federal/state employment law
- ACTIVELY PARTICIPATES IN THE RECRUITING STRATEGY PROCESS
- PARTNERS WITH TOTAL REWARDS TO COMMUNICATE AND IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS RELATED TO COMPENSATION & BENEFITS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE
- Facilitates new manager onboarding process for field managers
- BUILD BUSINESS KNOWLEDGE BY PARTICIPATING IN MEETINGS, READING INDUSTRY PUBLICATIONS AND JOB SHADOWING
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years’ Human Resource or related experience
- Ability to manage confidential information effectively, while maintaining adherence to company policies and procedures
- Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes and programs
- Demonstrated management skills as well as an ability to work in a team environment
- Exhibits a strong, highly collaborative working style; builds strong relationships
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations including state and federal regulations regarding employment practices
- Strong Project Management and Process Improvement skills
- Demonstrate innovative thinking to problem solving and customer service
- Ability to collaborate, consult and influence with various levels of management and associates
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Retail industry experience
- Understanding of Canadian HR practices/policies/regulations
Pay Range
134,427.33 - 191,037.62
