Sr Manager Finance Business Partner
Job Description Summary
Financial Business Partners influence day-to-day decisions, shape strategy, and translate business events into financial outcomes. They analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide insights for risk mitigation and opportunity optimization.
Essential Job Functions
- Partner with business unit leaders to develop financial strategies and provide guidance on financial matters, aligning with corporate objectives.
- Assist in financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and feasibility of budgets and forecasts.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of opportunity or concern. Prepare regular reports communicating key financial metrics and insights.
- Maintain open lines of communication with business unit leaders, addressing their financial inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Evaluate operational costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency while maintaining or improving service quality.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support business unit leaders' decision-making. Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely.
- Collaborate with other finance team members and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and coordinated financial strategies and practices.
- Lead or support post-merger integrations/divestitures activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- Typically 8+ years of relevant work experience, including 3+ years in a similar role in finance, accounting, or a related field
- High-performing professional in the FP&A space with experience in M&A
- Proven experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, and business partnership
- Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and financial software
- A continuous learner with industry knowledge and technology updates
- SaaS experience a plus
Other Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CPA, CFA, or CMA
