Responsibilities
- Lead the global equity administration function, including stock options, RSUs, and other equity-based compensation programs
- Drive IPO readiness for equity processes, including:
- Supporting S-1 preparation and disclosures
- Ensuring compliance with public company reporting requirements (ASC 718, SEC disclosures)
- Establishing scalable processes and internal controls (SOX readiness)
- Partner closely with Technical Accounting to ensure accurate accounting treatment and reporting of equity compensation
- Collaborate with Legal on equity plan design, board approvals, and regulatory compliance
- Work with HR and People teams on equity grant strategies, employee communications, and education programs
- Oversee cap table management and maintain accurate records of all equity transactions
- Cook up with Payroll and Finance to ensure accurate tax withholding, reporting, and global compliance
- Coordinate with external vendors, auditors, and consultants related to equity administration
- Support due diligence, audits, and valuation processes (409A and other valuations)
- Develop and document policies, procedures, and controls for equity administration
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for equity administration team members (as applicable)
- 8+ years of experience in equity administration, including leadership responsibilities
- Proven experience supporting a company through IPO readiness and/or public company equity administration
- Deep knowledge of equity compensation accounting (ASC 718) and SEC reporting requirements
- Strong understanding of cap table management, equity plan design, and global equity compliance
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, HR, and Payroll
- Excellent project management and process improvement skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage complex, high-volume workflows
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex equity topics to diverse audiences
- CPA, CEP (Certified Equity Professional), or equivalent certification
- Preference for experience with Israeli equity awards and related tax/regulatory frameworks (e.g., Section 102)
