Sr. Manager, Engineering - Core Platform

Responsibilities

• Lead and nurture high-performing platform engineering teams
• Set technical direction for platform reliability, security, and scalability
• Collaborate with product engineering and leadership to define infrastructure priorities
• Design internal platforms that empower product teams to release independently
• Oversee the evolution of cloud and data infrastructure including AWS services
• Establish a robust engineering culture and operational standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing platform or infrastructure teams at high-growth tech companies
• Prior experience managing multiple teams or projects
• Strong decision maker balancing ambiguity, data, speed, and quality
• Demonstrated success in scaling shared infrastructure
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects
• Effective communicator able to influence without direct authority
• Curiosity and willingness to use AI to enhance work
