Job Summary

The Senior Customer & Commercial Insights Manager at OSI Group serves as a key strategic advisor for the Sales team, translating market, customer, and consumer data into actionable insights and compelling customer-facing stories. This role bridges data and customer engagement to drive commercial strategy, support consumer-led innovation, and improve promotional and trade investment effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in related fields such as CPG insights, category management, commercial strategy, or similar roles
  • Specific experience working with syndicated data platforms like Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, or similar sources
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data and translate insights into commercial recommendations
  • Experience developing customer-facing presentations and selling materials
  • Experience evaluating promotions and trade spend effectiveness
  • Retail and/or foodservice commercial experience preferred
  • Experience in refrigerated, frozen foods, or protein categories preferred
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capability
  • Commercial storytelling and presentation development skills
  • Able to translate data into actionable recommendations
  • Cross-functional collaboration capability
  • Strong communication and influence skills
  • Organized and execution-oriented mindset with ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products

Experience

  • Quantitative and Qualitative Data Reporting and Analysis (30%)
  • Advise on retail and foodservice commercial strategy with market and performance insights
  • Partner with Sales, Culinary and R&D to translate insights into commercially viable product opportunities
  • Identify growth opportunities across customers, channels, and product segments
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and emerging trends influencing product development
  • Make data-backed recommendations to support channel and customer go-to market strategies
  • Support Customer Development and Innovation (25%)
  • Develop customer selling stories supporting category reviews, line reviews, and innovation showcases
  • Design and develop materials and insights supporting commercial activation activities
  • Design and develop customer innovation presentations and materials that support commercialization plans
  • Leverage data-backed actionable insights into customer-ready presentations
  • Support new business and distribution expansion initiatives
  • Industry Presence (15%)
  • Help lead the planning and execution of trade shows and customer events
  • Manage participation in industry memberships and data platforms

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary Range: $147,496 - $221,244
  • Eligible for annual discretionary bonus plan based on company and individual performance
