About the role

The Senior Manager, Consumer Insights leads the development of consumer-centered insights that drive product innovation, business growth, and brand preference across the Frigidaire and Electrolux portfolios. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to uncover consumer needs, identify emerging trends, and translate research into actionable business and product recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple consumer research initiatives across product categories, ensuring appropriate methodologies, vendor selection, and timely delivery against business objectives.
  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research programs to identify consumer needs, behaviors, attitudes, and emerging market trends.
  • Analyze research findings and consumer data to develop strategic recommendations that support innovation, product development, and business growth.
  • Translate complex insights into compelling presentations and narratives that drive action and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with product management, marketing, design, engineering, and commercial teams to integrate consumer insights into product and portfolio strategies.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage external research partners and vendors to ensure high-quality deliverables and efficient project execution.
  • Identify and implement innovative research methodologies and tools that enhance consumer understanding and organizational capabilities.
  • Champion a consumer-centric culture by advocating for insights-driven decision-making throughout the product development and commercialization process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7+ years of consumer insights, market research, or related experience
  • Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including research design, execution, and analysis
  • Proven experience translating consumer research and data into strategic recommendations that influence business, product, or marketing decisions
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization techniques
  • Knowledge of consumer, market, and technology trends, with the ability to identify emerging opportunities and inform future business strategies
