Sr. Manager, Commercial Content Business / Product Owner
About the role
Provide strategic direction and governance for the commercial MarTech stack that enables agile, compliant content development and omnichannel activation, ensuring platforms, integrations, and operating standards scale effectively across brands.
Responsibilities
- Define the Marketing Technology roadmap and governance for content operations platforms, including DAM and related workflow/fulfillment tools with DD&T Tagging and metadata standards.
- Enable modular content reuse by configuring DAM/workflow platforms and standards to support modular content development, assembly, and reuse across brands and channels.
- Partner with TA content leads and Ad/Promo to translate TA needs and review feedback into platform enhancements and process improvements; ensure clear roles, handoffs, and consistent use of tooling across brands.
- Drive adoption and support model by defining the operating model for user support, training, communications, and issue escalation; ensure consistent adoption across internal teams, agencies, and partners.
- Manage key platform and service partners, including SLAs, prioritization, escalations, and continuous improvement; coordinate platform training updates with partners.
- Oversee platform licensing and key vendor relationships; manage enhancement funding and prioritize spend against highest value capabilities.
- Ensure the MarTech ecosystem supports compliant development and approval of promotional materials in a regulated environment, embedding required controls and documentation practices.
Qualifications and Essential Experience, Attributes, Skills, and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree required, Preferred Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PharmD, or related).
- 5–8+ years managing marketing technology platforms (e.g., DAM, workflow, content ops), defining roadmaps, adoption frameworks, and governance standards across brands or business units.
- Proven experience partnering with brand, Ad/Promo, TA content leads, and agencies to translate business needs into platform enhancements, process improvements, and compliant content operations.
- Experience managing platform vendors and service partners, negotiating SLAs, prioritizing enhancements, and overseeing licensing budgets or funding allocations.
- Strong understanding of regulated content development requirements, metadata/tagging standards, modular content reuse, and operational controls to enable scalable, compliant, and measurable content workflows.

For Location: Lexington, MA U.S. Base Salary Range $137,000.00 - $215,270.00 The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives.
