About the role
The Sr. Manager, Clinical Transformation - Tech Strategy will play an integral role in developing the technology roadmap for clinical initiatives being deployed to the field teams. This position focuses on synthesizing internal clinical work, assessing and prioritizing opportunities for technology, and developing the prioritization process and roadmap to support the tools needed to execute on priorities. The role partners across clinical strategy, clinical technology and product teams, and clinical and operations leadership as a thought partner, internal consultant, and leader in building the right technology to further the clinical strategy.
This role requires strategic thinking and creative problem-solving, combined with practical operational experience, to synthesize strategic initiatives and pilots into a technology roadmap that delivers the greatest impact on clinical outcomes and quality of life for kidney patients. The Sr. Manager will work on a team of highly motivated individuals with backgrounds in consulting, process engineering, change management, and clinical operations. This highly visible and cross-functional role partners directly with leaders across DaVita Kidney Care to drive forward the organization’s clinical strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute on a technology roadmap aligned with the village clinical strategy.
- Navigate ambiguous business problems and balance multiple perspectives to create a structured project management approach to ideal solutions.
- Synthesize current state and conduct data analyses to generate insights that include trade-offs and risk assessments to drive business decisions.
- Proactively identify conflicts or roadblocks and propose recommended solutions.
- Collaborate with clinical strategy teams, technology teams, clinical services, and field operations teams to develop and maintain a technology prioritization process supporting clinical initiatives.
- Supervise, coach, and develop Analysts (1-2 direct reports) to grow their technical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; provide regular feedback, mentoring, and structured learning.
- Responsible for performance development, performance management, retention, team assignments, and teammate relations.
- Work directly with managers to create a sustained culture driving patient safety, compliance, and outcomes.
- Adapt communication style and information scope to appropriate leadership audiences to maximize efficiency and impact of decisions.
- Travel approximately 25% of the time.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5-7 years of work experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience and/or interest in healthcare delivery and patient experience.
- Strong analytical and presentation skills preferred.
- Prior experience as a direct supervisor preferred.
- Highly collaborative with the ability to impact change.

Pay
Salary range: $85,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year. Compensation depends on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. DaVita offers a competitive total rewards package, including a 401k match, healthcare coverage, and a broad range of other benefits.
