SUMMARY
The Sr. Manager, Americas Solutions supports the design, positioning, and application of client-focused workforce solutions across the Americas, leveraging Hays’ Enterprise services to create scalable, compliant, and commercially compelling solutions.
ROLE PURPOSE
Develop Americas-focused workforce solution designs across permanent, contingent, and services-based work models. Strengthen Hays’ commercial positioning by translating solution capability, market insight and delivery expertise into clear value stories, proposal content, and client-facing materials. Identify client needs, market opportunities, service gaps, and technology innovations that inform Hays’ go-to-market approach.
Solution Design & Workforce Strategy
- Design customized workforce solutions aligned to client objectives, industry requirements, operational realities, and Hays governance standards.
- Shape solution approaches across Hays’ Enterprise offerings including MSP, RPO, Direct Sourcing, Services Procurement/SOW, and adjacent workforce models.
- Develop operating concepts, governance frameworks, service models, workflows, and implementation considerations.
- Translate discovery outputs and stakeholder priorities into practical solution architectures, value propositions, and data-informed recommendations.
Sales, Client Development & Pre-Sales Enablement
- Enable sales and client development efforts by partnering with Sales, Delivery, Commercial, Bids, Contracts, Implementation, and regional teams on discovery, solution shaping, commercial modeling, and enterprise-level pitches.
- Support client workshops and solution reviews by articulating Hays’ capabilities, client value, ROI, and transformational outcomes.
Program Design, Delivery Alignment & Implementation
- Define service delivery models and identify key operational dependencies, risks, and transition considerations for new or expanding solutions.
- Provide clear handoff to implementation and delivery teams to preserve alignment between commercial commitments, solution design, and operational execution.
Technology, Data & Innovation
- Maintain awareness of workforce technologies, including VMS, ATS, CRM, analytics, automation, AI, and digital tools.
- Provide input on platforms such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Magnit, Workday VNDLY, and adjacent workforce technologies.
Compliance, Governance & Risk Awareness
- Incorporate labor law, co-employment, worker classification, IC compliance, tenure, data privacy, regional regulation, and SOW governance considerations into solution recommendations.
- Advise internal stakeholders on risk considerations and mitigation approaches for contingent labor, services procurement, and broader workforce solutions.
Market Review, Product & Service Development
- Gather input from internal stakeholders, clients, prospects, partners, and analysts to validate market needs.
- Support go-to-market strategy through research, insight synthesis, positioning recommendations, and enablement materials.
Insight Sharing, Thought Leadership & Content Generation
- Partner with Bids and Marketing/Creative teams to develop accurate, compelling content that supports sales.
- Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of MSP, RPO, Direct Sourcing, VMS, Services Procurement, and contingent labor program lifecycles.
- Knowledge of workforce technologies, including VMS, ATS, CRM, analytics, reporting, automation, and collaboration tools.
- Ability to convert client needs, market trends, workforce challenges, and technology innovation into practical solution recommendations.
- Strong writing, storytelling, proofreading, proposal development, and presentation skills for client-facing and internal materials.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially aware, with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear recommendations.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and coordinate cross-functional input in a matrix environment.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and CRM/database tools; familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, Miro, or similar tools is advantageous.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- 8+ years in workforce solutions, talent acquisition operations, or contingent labor management, including at least 3 years in solution design, program management, or pre-sales/commercial roles within an MSP, RPO, or staffing environment.
- Proven track record translating client needs and market opportunities into scalable solution designs across multiple workforce models (MSP, RPO, Direct Sourcing, Services Procurement); experience building or improving service delivery models and operational frameworks.
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management experience — comfortable presenting to C-suite, procurement, and HR leadership; demonstrated ability to synthesize input from Sales, Delivery, Compliance, and Technology teams in a matrix environment.
