Sr. Maintenance Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team at The Customization Group. Based in Columbus, Ohio, this position plays a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our extensive industrial production and processing machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to maximize uptime and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Uphold 5s/housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvements.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Aid in maintenance planning and spare parts management.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance best practices.

Requirements

• Understanding of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Skills in analyzing problems and performing repairs.
• Ace in a technical field with an associate degree or 18 months of related experience in an industrial background.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Experience in reading and interpreting drawings and schematics.
