We're seeking a skilled and forward-thinking Maintenance Technician to join our growing team, servicing one of the world's largest online retailers.

Responsibilities

  • Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
  • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
  • Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
  • Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 4+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
  • Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.
  • Ability to conduct preventative & procedure-based maintenance.
  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
  • 3+ years of work order management.
  • Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time to prioritize accordingly.
  • Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50lbs. or more.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Electronic Technology or equivalent OR 2+ years of equivalent professional experience.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Previous vendor management experience.
  • Experience with robotic maintenance.
  • Experience with CMMS.
  • Certification preferred in one or more of the following: electronic, electrical, mechanical, access control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.

Pay

The minimum salary for the Sr. Maintenance Technician position is $76,752.00 annually [or $36.90 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Sr. Maintenance Technician position is $78,707.20 annually [or $37.84 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
